To what extent does the organization recognize that there may be different needs for staff to address STS depending on their role in the organization as well as their background?
Strategies:
Be respectful of diverse coping styles and survey staff as to what coping supports would be helpful rather than assuming what staff may want or need.
Be sure to involve support staff and provide opportunities for them to receive support and debrief their experiences with trauma-exposure.
