Regularly share information about STS with either your board of directors, or the larger organization/system that you are a part of, for example, if your CAC is hospital- or government-based, so that there is support for the organizational strategies needed to address STS.
“The ROI in workplace mental health programs: Good for people, good for business” is a 36-page report prepared by Deloitte Development LLC that provides information on the impacts of not addressing the mental health of the workforce. While it is not specific to STS, much of the business case that is laid out illustrates the negative impacts of not supporting staff on addressing STS, which can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder or other mental health conditions.
