- Like CACs, MDTs should also monitor how they are doing in relation to STS, both as a team and as individual team members.
- MDTs can evaluate how they are doing in relevant domains of the STSI-OA, such as resilience-building and safety, by completing those domains of the STSI-OA together and discussing results.
- MDTs can also utilize individual measures, such as the STSS, to monitor STS levels among team members. This should be done in a confidential manner (not asking individuals to share their scores) and in a way that promotes mutual support among team members related to the impact of work-related trauma exposure.
- Consider including questions about STS-related activities and policies as a part of the formal and informal feedback required as a part of the National Standards of Accreditation for Children’s Advocacy Centers.
