Strategies for Supervisors:

Encourage use of services and supports by

• normalizing the use of STS supports as an expected part of doing trauma work;
• informing staff members of available services regularly;
• assisting staff members to connect with services as needed (e.g., offer to make first call with them, offer private office space to make call during work hours); and
• supervisors setting an example by using services and support and sharing positive experiences with staff members.
