Assessments
Safety and Support in the Workplace
- Trauma-Informed Climate Scale (TICS-10) on p. 191 of the Trauma-Informed Organizational Change Manual from the University at Buffalo Center for Social Research. This 10-item scale offers staff the opportunity to provide confidential feedback on issues including emotional safety, trust, and support at work.
Workplace Conflict
- Interpersonal Conflict at Work Scale (ICAWS) is a four-item rating scale that assesses how well a staff member gets along with colleagues and how often a staff member may experience rude behavior from colleagues.9 (Note that the ICAWS scale is located in the first section of the downloaded Word document.)
Workplace Isolation
- If you are interested in measuring the levels of workplace isolation felt by staff, refer to Appendix A of the research article authored by Greg W. Marshall, Charles E. Michaels, and Jay P. Mulki, “Workplace Isolation: Exploring the Construct and Its Measurement,”10 for statements that could be potentially incorporated into a survey.
