DOMAIN 2: CREATING AND SUSTAINING A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE CULTURE
Item 2

Strategies:
Provide staff with regular training on what to do in situations (in person or over the phone or telehealth) where clients become dysregulated and are escalating—or if indirect threats are made.
Make staff aware of the policies related to client threats so they know what actions to take in the event of a threat.
Implementation Resources:
Publications
